~When you both were 6 years old~

"Y/n-san~" a small voice called "Y/n-san!~" he repeated, a bit louder this time. The h/c girl turned around seeing a little guy with black hair and chocolate eyes ,waving at her, it was no other than her best friend, Kiku Honda
"Kiku~" she said running towards his friend.
"I've got something for you" He said
"Oooh~ what is it?" the girl slightly tilts her head in confusion.
"Close your eyes" Kiku commands as y/n follows.
"Now give me your hands" he said and you place your hands out, as a weight was added and you open your eyes, seeing a beautiful necklace with half of a heart.
"It's so pretty, but... Where's the other half?" she asked. He then showed her the other half, which he was also wearing.
"Here, so whenever we meet, I know it's you and when we are far away from each other, we can remember each other" He smiled at her.
Y/n then hugged Kiku...
"Friends forever!" They both said in unison as they reconnect both of the half of the hearts, to create one.

~*~ Time Skip to year before (Age) ~*~

You both just had a picnic at (park). And it was pretty fun. You both were about to go home when you saw a cat.
"It's a pretty cat" (Y/n) said
"Hmm?" 
You pointed at the cat with black fur who was approaching  you two, (Y/n) knelt down as the cat snuggled on your lap. Kiku smiled at the view. When the cat suddenly ran across the street while the red light was on and a truck was moving at a high speed, but You still chased for the cat.
"(Y-Y/N)!!!" Kiku warned, and was about to run for you. But it was too late. It was a hit and run. Your body lied in your own pool of blood, as some of your internal organs are out. He was shaking, panic, fear, anger, and other emotions you could think of when someone you truly love, now gone, forever.

Blue and red lights were seen, and sirens were heard. The Japanese man ran away from the scene, tears falling out from his chocolate eyes.

~*~ A few hours later ~*~

"I tried to warn her....I warned her, but she didn't listen" were the only words he was thinking of repeatedly, as he rocked back and forth in the corner of his room, when his phone rang. He grabbed his phone from his shaky hands and saw the caller ID,
Arthur Kirkland, one of his friends.
He answered it and placed it on speaker and placed it back on the table.
"K-Kiku?" the man on the other line said in a shaky voice.
"(Y-Y/n)--" before Arthur could continue, Kiku cut him off, by just hearing your name.
"IS SHE ALRIGHT?!? PLEASE TELL ME SHE'S OKAY!" Kiku panicked.
"I-I'm sorry Kiku..." Arthur said, who seems to be crying, from his voice.


~*~Present~*~

He was kneeling down at the same place where he had given the necklace, hand on his face, trying to control the tears that threatened to fall out, but failed.
"Y/N W-WHY D-DID Y-YOU HAVE TO L-LEAVE ME!" he screamed in frustration, when more memories come into his mind. Remembering y/n's smiles and voice.
"Y-you had to... chase that damned... c-cat.. and that truck had to hit you" He said in between sobs. He held his own locket and said...
"(Y-Y/n)-san a-and... K-Kiku...F-friends forever... and ever...." He managed to say
"I miss you, and I love you..." he looked up at the sky

"And I'm sure we will meet again" he sadly smiled.
